Overview
Gjirokastra is enchanted with the almost fabulously steep alleys, where each building has its history written in stone. Located in southern Albania, Gjirokastra lies on the steep slopes of the Drino River valley, in a dominant position and a landscape rich in history.
The Blue Eye Albania is about 22 kilometres to the east of Saranda, in the south of Albania. The spring is located on the road between Saranda and Gjirokastra. It is close to the Greek border and in the ultimate south of Albania.
It takes 30 minutes to travel from Saranda to the Blue Eye. From the main road, there is a clear signage indicating the Blue Eye attraction.
The main attraction in Ksamil is visiting the four little islands located in front of the beach. The four islands are uninhabited. It is possible to swim to the islands that are nearer to the coast.

Itinerary
Day 1
Departure 6.00 Am
Travel starts in DurresWe will depart at 6:00 AM, with a coffee stop, in the way before exploring Gjirokaster historic castle and the charming Old Bazaar. Lunch will be enjoyed in Gjirokaster before heading to Syri i kalter to see the beautiful view there. After that we will be headed to the hotel for check in. In the evening, we will have dinner in Ksamil or Saranda (optional).
Day 2
Ksamil
Relax Day at the beachAfter enjoying breakfast at the hotel, the entire day will be free for relaxing and spending time on the stunning Ksamil Beach. We will return to the hotel or city at 21:00.
