Itinerary
Day 1
ARRIVAL IN TIRANA
Upon arrival at Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and a short rest. The day continues with a guided city tour of Tirana, beginning at Skanderbeg Square, the vibrant heart of the capital. You will then visit the beautiful Et'hem Bey Mosque, one of the city’s oldest and most significant landmarks, before exploring the lively Blloku district, once reserved for communist elites and now a trendy area filled with cafés and boutiques. The program also includes a visit to Bunk'Art, a fascinating underground museum set inside a former nuclear bunker, offering insight into Albania’s communist past. Later, enjoy a panoramic ascent to Mount Dajti, where breathtaking views over the city and surrounding landscapes await.
Day 2
KRUJË → SHKODËR → TIRANA
After breakfast at the hotel, departure toward the historic town of Krujë, a symbol of Albanian resistance. Visit the impressive Krujë Castle, perched on a hill with panoramic views, and stroll through the charming Old Bazaar of Krujë, known for its traditional handicrafts and local souvenirs. Continue north to Shkodër, one of the country’s oldest and most culturally significant cities. Along the way, enjoy a lunch stop at the renowned Mrizi i Zanave farmhouse restaurant, famous for its organic, locally sourced cuisine. In the afternoon, explore Shkodër’s city center and enjoy a relaxing walk in Shirokë, offering beautiful views over Lake Shkodra. Return to Tirana in the evening.
Day 3
BERAT → DURRËS
The last day depends on your departure schedule.After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Visit the impressive Berat Castle, still inhabited and offering stunning views over the city, followed by a walk through the historic quarters of Mangalem and Gorica, famous for their well-preserved Ottoman architecture. After lunch in Berat, transfer to the coastal city of Durrës. Enjoy a free walk along the seaside promenade, soaking in the relaxed Adriatic atmosphere. In the evening, dinner at a seaside restaurant featuring fresh seafood specialties.
Day 4
DURRËS → AIRPORT
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided city tour of Durrës, one of the oldest cities in the country. Visit the impressive Durrës Amphitheatre, dating back to the 2nd century and one of the largest Roman amphitheatres in the Balkans, followed by a walk through the historic city center, where ancient heritage blends with modern coastal life. After lunch, transfer to Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza for your return flight, marking the end of your journey.
